I just finished these socks for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event next month. I made these purple which signifies pancreatic cancer which took my sister three years ago.
Seeing Andy's beautiful yarns, I decided to try myself. I first dyed the yarn (Knitpick's Bare Merino/Nylon Fingering) with black cherry KoolAid. After it was dry I overdyed it with Jacquard Black.
This is a sweater I made for my soon to be born Great Granddaughter. I can't believe I'm going to be a great grandfather!
This is my latest and current favorite pair of socks. The yarn is a hand painted merino/nylon fingering weight from Black Trylium's Etsy shop, size 0, 9 in circular needles.
I am making this scarf and am not sure how long to make it. Being somewhat dressy, I'm not sure if the normal long length would be appropriate. I'm not yet sure who I'm going to give it to.
Just finished this pair of red socks.
