a holiday gift for nephew. made up my own version of mobius.
i was given one skein, 3.5 oz, 1093 yds, of hand painted silk super fine finger weight yarn. i wanted t make some lace, but wondered how much is needed for a shawl.
i finished this before my trip (honeymoon to france) but didn't get time to upload pix. that's my hubbie
working sweater from top down in one piece that is open in front (so not in round). i've been increasing at seams and started increasing for neck edge.
just finished shawl for husband's (still weird to say. i'll get used to it, i guess) grandmother for her 93rd bday. it's socal, but she still gets cold.
love to connect to fellow knitters of the bay area. i'll be in town for the slow food convention and generally moving from cafe to cafe knitting when not eating slowwwwwwly. who wants to meet?
