Ok, I apologize in advance.....
I ran across an interesting piece of animation on YouTube today that uses knitted panels to tell its story.
...and they only took three months to complete (I can’t believe how fast some of you guys and gals knit).
The International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs (IAGSDC) is holding its 25th annual convention July 4th, 5th, & 6th in Cleveland, OH.
I finally finished my first cardigan. Unfortunately, it’s an inch or so too small around the chest. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact that I totally altered the pattern. I found a pattern for a “Men’s Irish Cardigan” on the internet, but didn’t really like the cable pattern, so I decided to pull a left-twist section out of another sweater and just repeat it throughout the sweater instead. Hey, the gauge swatch came out the same, so I figured I was good to go. Well, I was half way through the back before I noticed that I was reading the pattern wrong.
So, I finished the buttonhole row on the button band of my cardigan and I looked at the pattern to see what was next and noticed it says “knit 3 more rows then cast off for ribbing”.
