I just finished a new yarn bowl. Unlike my Pig or nesting bowl this one is smaller. Great for sock knitting or lace knitting.

HI everyone! Been away for a few weeks but I have started this sock using Confeti Yarn. It's great as the yarn is dyed so it looks like you are working hard with color changes, but really it is just the yarn doing the work. I wanted something easy as my mother has been in the hospital very ill for the last eight weeks. I have attached some pics to see the process. I started off using very small circular's so I didn't have to use double points. I really like this technique. Then when making a double heel flap you just need to use one DPN.

Well I made another yarn bowl. But this time a little different. I made a pig. LOL. I guess I am having too much fun creating these yarn bowls. I am already thinking what can I do next? Check my website out for more of my story.
Meantime take a look at the couple of pics

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know I changed my user name. Now it is constant with my blog, revelry, etc. Thought I would give a shout out as maybe might confuse some that have replied to me. LOL. On another note, I am just starting a new Stephen West Project. I really like his patterns. I will post some pics when I get going!.

I spend this morning ripping out a scarf I had half completed. This pattern was something that looks like blocks that keep shifting positions. I got half way done when the pattern changes and found out the pattern was incorrect. The math calculations were off. Although I spend a lot of time recalculating the math for the error and it seem to be working, I found myself re-writing the pattern. At this point I felt like I should get credit for the patten since I was re-writing it. So finally, I ripped it out and put the yarn to good use on a more reliable pattern.

Hi Everyone, I am new to the site and love reading the posts so I decided to post my first one. just finished a toy turtle as my last project. It was a far cry from sweaters, cowls and socks that I usually do. A friend of mine asked me to knit it for her daughters birthday and I agreed. I was glad when I completed it even though I avoided working on it as much as I could. I can honestly say as this was my first toy project, it will also be my last. The end result though was kinda cute. I thought I would share it with everyone.
