Awesome new DPNs!

My New DPNs arrived today! I picked them up on ebay (brand new) They're 8" and every size from 1-13, bamboo. Tell me that's not cool! And the best part, they cost me $22.59 (+S/H) for all of them!

I know the season is starting to get busier and busier for many of us and the idea of another "meeting" probably seems overwhelming, but I was wondering how many male knitters there are in SW Michigan
Has anyone ever used the Harmony Interchangeable needles?
I just finished the "Wonderful Wallaby" for my daughter Sophia... I'm really happy with how it turned out.
I've had a distant desire to start spinning (a desire that comes with very little financial backing!) Any suggestions? I've considered a drop spindle but wonder if it's possible to do enough that way to actually make anything out of (is that a dumb question?!) There's the PVC wheels by Babe's Fiber Garden, but they're pricer than I can go for right now (let alone one of those wooden beauties that deserve a prime place in the living room!).
Those of you who do such things... what do you think?
Grace and Peace,

I picked this book up the other day (on vacation) and have to tell you about it. It's a basic book, EXACTLY what I was looking for.
I just got back from a week in Michigan's Leelanau peninsula (a few pics and links to the wineries we visited are on my regular blog at: http://tencla
I mentioned a while ago that I was interested in trying an Italian Greyhound sweater. I found a pattern (members.aol.com/Graceleb/pattern.html) and gave it a try.
Let me first say this: I've knit scarves, hats, socks, and sweaters but NEVER done anything more difficult than a simple seed stitch.
I wanted to make a hat/sock set for some friends of ours who are expecting a little boy.
