I was digging through some old files and came across this that I wrote quite a while ago about my favourite sweater. I think it was in one of my journals or something, but, the text ended up in one of the files on my computer.
...and I'm generally not one for writing poetry that rhymes:
Oh gansey oh gansey,
Tight upon my chest;
Give me great protection,
'Till the boat comes to rest.
Diamonds, ropes, and ladders
Adorning all the yoke;
Keep me safe while fishing;
To get back to my folk.
