Cable Guy Question (Son of a SnB)

Good evening all!

I’m almost done with the Cable Guy pattern (in Son of a Stitch n Bitch), but have a few questions on the last page.

It’s pg 79 in SoaSNB.

Rnd 1 of the Neck Shaping.
It seems to move the beginning of the round to the front rather than starting at the back of the left sleeve. Is that accurate?

Also, it says to “work in patt as est to 5 sts from next marker” in Rnd 1. Shouldn’t that be “4 sts from next marker”?

I’d just do it… but I’d rather not have to frog anything this close to the end :-)

Grace and Peace,

Oh TIM! I have to look at that.. I too am doing 'Cable Guy' and just about to start the second sleeve. What yarn are you using? For me it's Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran. There is also another flaw in the pattern but I don't have it in front of me and it pertains only to the Medium size. I'll look it up when I get home. But overall it's a cool looking but exceptionally warm sweater.

I looked on the book's web site ( and didn't see any errata for the Cable Guy, only Beer Gloves and the High Top Hoodie.

Good luck!
