My First Cardigan

Stephouche's picture

I did it! My first cardigan. Lion's Brand Fisherman's wool on sale at Micheal's. I'm happy with it more or less.
I need to learn more about gauge and grafting. Apparently I knit with a tight gauge.

Wow! Success! Tight gauge is good. Your tight gauge is very good. I'd be proud to be able to make something like that. Garmentry is still in the future for me but it's a future that's getting closer and closer. You're an inspiration. Knit on!

That looks fantastic!! Your gauge looks just right to me. I haven't used the Lions Brand Fisherman's wool yet but have been considering getting some for a sweater for a while. Thanks for the pics!

You've tempted me - I've sworn off of making anything that has to fit for a long time. But...perhaps.?!
