Polaris a Weaved Tote Bag

PolarisBag (5)
This bag was made with the Cricket Loom and about 75 to 85 percent of the yarn was made by me. It is an experiment in testing my weaving and finishing techniques and it was a lot of fun. I am hoping to make two more pockets with the two pieces of fabric at the end. Thanks for stopping by.

Very nice, Andy. I always enjoyed weaving bags for tools, etc. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

I love them! I just saw some satchels presented at the Woodstock Weaver's Guild meeting this month. They are so cool! I want to make some for myself. How cool that you are expanding into weaving as well!

Okay Andy. I demand to se a flubbed piece. Even if your last one was ages ago. I want proof that you are human and not some craft god. Seriously though, once again they are beautiful. I have a feeling if I continue expanding into other areas after spinning it will be weaving. I can only hope someday to have an inkling of the depth of your fiber art knowledge.

Keep at it man! You give us unattainable yet deliciously sweet goals to strive for.

Thank You Quinton. I spen most of my free time in crafting and actually playing around with the fiber,It has been rumored that I am a Cylon, but I am definitely from the colonies of Men. Weaving is a lot of fun in a different way, you can play with different yarns. I think I guet the most fun out of making something just for the fun of seeing what I can do with the fabric. I enjoy learning finishing touches.
