What happenned to Srping?

Last week I had snow and had to scrape ice off the car windshield - this week we are in the high 70's - which a lot of times is as hot as it gets here in the summer.

Where was spring?

Probably washed away in the rain and snow of April - record setting wet month in this area.

But I got in a few minutes of gardening last night before it started raining again - and it looks like I may be able to do some more tonight. it rained this morning but it is clear (at the moment) - rain predicted tomorrow but currently they are saying "dry" for Saturday....

hope that mulch gets deliivered.

I sympathise MM, we are in autumn and instead of our usual warm dry weather we have showers and yet more showers.

If it helps at all, I mowed the lawn yesterday and this morning walked the dogs in pouring rain that by the time I got home and had tea water boiling had turned to snow. I could use a good spring day to do some gardening but will take the knitting weather I guess.

So much for knitting weather. It became dry walling weather instead. Damn home projects.

Not knowing where you live, I live in Denver, CO. We can never count on a real "Spring." It is possible for us to get snow even to the end of May. I do not live in the mountains, I live on the Front Range. I had a rack of ribs on the grill, sunny and warm and then without warning the temp dropped 50 degrees and a snow blew in! Hope your weather improves. Cheers, Sis

I'm in San Francisco...the lilacs are in bloom...and the cherry blossoms...and it's 62degrees. Lovely day!

What Q said. Driving through the snow and fog to run errands today was not fun. Up to 60 degrees yesterday and we'll be lucky to hit 40 this afternoon. Ahhh Meee...nothing like "Spring" in Wyoming! -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
