It's That Time Again...

Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival!

Yarn. Fiber. Lamb burgers. Fry cakes... On the inside, I am a little boy dancing on tippy toes, playing with my fingers, vibrating with excitement and anticipation of wandering through aisles and aisles of roving and dyes, spinning wheels and knitting needles, watching sheep dog trials and farm boys, I mean, livestock. I cannot wait!

On the outside, of course, I remain my staid and dignified self.

Anyone else going? May 5 & 6, Howard County Fairgrounds:

Besides the hard-to-find yarns and the connection to the farms and the beautiful spinning fibers and the kilts, I'm also looking forward to the music and a bit of the artwork on display. There are so many things you just can't get anywhere else... at least not for a normal person! Can't wait!

I'm planning on going Sunday with my other half... last year we met in person for the first time at MS&W.

If you're going Sunday, let's try not to miss each other this time!

I hope you all have a great time there. If I lived nearby, I'd join you.

Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

I shall be there all day Saturday with my wife. I hope to meet some new male knitting friends.

One day I will get to MDSW. One day...

Have fun everyone!
