Christmas Cheer?

Wherever I go I try never to miss an opportuninty to locate other knitters to join our group here in Dallas.

Over the weekend I went to this great huge Christmas party and met a guy who had knitted in the past and was thinking of taking it up again and we hit it off pretty good. Trust me, I'll force him to take it up again.

Later in the evening myself and half a dozen members of the Turtle Creek Chorale, fantastic mens chorus, were at the piano singing Christmas carols and I was feeling pretty good, me singing with these great voices.

Between songs this guy walks up to me and says, "Chris when you sing it gives me goosebumps." Impressed with the compliment I replied, "Really?". and he says, "Yes, everytime you open your mouth my skin crawls!"

I like him.

Oh, we don't need Chris to do that. Actually, there already is a G/L knitting group that meets at martha's on Sundays, but I've never been: I don't like the place. Too dark and claustraphobic.

Kevie you know I don't mind one iota. Hell I would like to see chapters in all 50 states!

I hope your transition back into Yankeeville is going smoothly.

Merry Christmas,
