J'ai Fini! - Le Prayer/Healing Shawl

Finally gotterdone. Chevron Seed, crocheted border (well, at least my version of crochet). I am gonna do some minor blocking before shipping it out.

Not perfect, but I am happy all in all. It is the third thing I have done.

Now.................MMarios Faux Spanish Lace Shawl.

PS...Note the handsome model who is a camera ham....

Your shawl looks great! I'm thinking about doing a shawl as my first large(r) project. I can't stop looking at that picture, your model is quite the show-stealer.

The shawl is beautiful. I love that blue and the knitting looks so smooth. I am also envious- after this note I will be frogging the ribbing of my sweater for the second time. Oh, well, learn from experience, right? Sure.

What a wonderful job you did. It looks lovely. When you told me you would get the dog to model it, I thought you were kidding!!! He/She's great. And it is his/her colour as well. Congratulations and get that next project on the needles.

Great job and even greater model

Have been knitting for years. I knit continually then will try another craft, but will return to the needles.

What a great photo! You can tell your pooch loves the limelight. Really nice job on the shawl too!

Thank you for your kind words :)

Yes he is a ham! I love the lil poop...he is a great friend.

How can you all call that handsome model a ham? Just look at him, doing his best to display that marvelous shawl with dignity and a full apreciation of the work that went into it! You have no regard for the craft, gentlemen! Bravo to the model for a successful job, well done (and the knitter as well)

MMario - I'm not divorced from reality - we're having a trial separation

I admit, he does have a regal look but, in reality, I think he saw a squirrel on the porch the moment I shot the photo.
