Bound off, blocked, and everything!
Looks terrific. Very impressive. Again, what needle size? How many yards?
HandPaintedYarn.com 100% wool laceweight - on US 8's; it took about 1000 yards.

Gorgeous as always :)

Stunning - can't think of a better way to start a new year! Asplund
Fabulous - I love everything about it.

Now that is a bit much, I dare say. Most of us aren't wearing hip boots!
Hip boots??? I don't smell anything that funky. The Acronym phrase just kind of coalesced on it's own, my fingers just typed it when it was done. In any event - great job, MMario.
iffen you say so. *grin*
Beautiful shawl, fantastic work!.
WOW!! You always impress me with the beautiful work that you do. Fantastic!!!
Excellent job! Perfect!
This belongs in a gallery! You are so inspiring. I am getting the lace bug. Haven't really tackled it yet.
I think lace wshould be out in the world where people can enjoy it....not that I wouldn't put a piece in a gallery if I had the chance. But this is going to the boss's wife - who everyone knows is the *real* boss.
Stunning, as always! Does a project like this have to be knitted in solitude without distractions? I can't imagine the concentration is must take to create such intricacy.
Knit like the wind!
Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cozy, doesn't try it on. ~Billy Connolly
Are you crazy? I would never get anything done if that were so.
the center square took more concentration then anything - I knit that on coffee breaks and lunch hours; the other two sections are a 17 stitch repeat and a 6 stitch repeat - so easily memorized, easily "read" - no problemo.
Yup, I am a bit of a nutter - I knit after all!
Now that you put it in those terms, I can relate it to the stranded knitting patterns. Breaking a pattern down to it's smallest repeat section makes it easy to do.
But, I'm still seriously impressed with your work!
my motto is simple to knit - impressive to look at; it's what I strive for.
WOW - now I'm really inspired. Is this a pattern you created yourself, or is it one that I can find somewhere?
yes - it's one of mine, available eitehr from my blog entry here (No one expects the Spanish Armada!) or from the MMarioKKnits yahoo group at :
