Entrelac Scarf

This is my first Entrelac project. The scarf has not been blocked yet. Brian Kohler, who designs for Skacel, taught this Entrelac Scarf pattern at the Men's Fall Knitting Retreat. The yarn is Zitron Loft, and I used three skeins that Brian provided. The scarf is a bit short, so I would use four skeins if I knit this again. Entrelac is counter intuitive at first the way you have to knit the blocks, but once you have that AHA! moment, then it goes pretty quickly.

I am still working on this project , but it is looking as good as yours. I am very thankful to Brian for teaching me how to do this as it has allowed me to do other things as well. NOw youmotivated me to finish mine lol! I think that once you block it it may stretch a bit.

I will block mine by immersing it in an eucalan soap bath and then after taking the excess water out stretching it in length.

Lively color combinations, will enjoy seeing a photo after blocking. Will you be trying other articles in entrelac?

Awesome scarf. I love how entrelac looks in a self striping yarn.

I agree with Thomas! I'll have to try it myself soon...

Very cool, it looks like a patchwork quilt.
