Combo Hat

The first picture is what I call the wrong side, but since it is reversible, there is no such thing. This hat comes from using the Botanic Hat from Stephen West and it is the second time I make it, but this time from the Crown down. His blog is , but you may find him on Ravelry as well. I made this hat combo meaning crochet and knit together. The crown is crochet and the bottom area is knit. Stephen Pattern is a very fast knit and you will be very suprised at the texture that this Slip Stitch Hat has. The picture below is the other side. This hat is made with the colorway of hand dyed yarn I made a while ago. Thanks for stopping by.

Andy doesn't make just hats...those are H.A.T.S. - Head Accessory Toric Singularities...original art objects done in multiple series...Egad, tourists! Go to a museum, once in a while, buddy. A man can never, never have enough H.A.T.S. It's like women and shoes.

Thank You Guys. I sell some of my hats, some I donate to charity, some hats I trade for services, lol, I do! but I never have enough hats that is for sure. Hats are for outfits, or maybe a mood. Do I feel Sunny today, do I feel Celtic, do I feel daring enough to wear it. I wear all my hats with pride that's for sure. I liked what Mark said "H.A.T.S. - Head Accessory Toric Singularities". because there is geometry, physics and then some involved in making these hats, but mainly is self expression. Hats for me are a great way of expressing creativity. Right now I guess I have about 15 or so, and I want to work on the new fall and winter hats. Is a great way of practicing stitches. Then it may come to socks, which is another great way of expressing creativity.

Socks are a great creativity expression, that's for certain. Can't wait to see some you come up with. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
