On the Saturday after Thanksgiving I had the pleasure of meeting designer Anne Hanson who came to do a trunk show at Trumpet Hill, my favorite LYS. I was in the shop a week or so prior just to hang out for the day and they had just gotten the patterns in and were getting them tagged and put in binders. There were so many beautiful designs and the one that I ended up coming home with is the Elm Row scarf.
Anyway, Anne has a GREAT summary of the day at knitspot.com including LOTS of pictures! There's one of me about halfway down the page. She was really very nice and spent time talking with everyone about her designs, what people are working on, etc., and there were a LOT of people in the shop that day.
Here's a picture of the Elm Row scarf that I'm working on. it doesn't look like much when it's still on the needles and unblocked, but I figured I'd show it anyway.
(okay, I took the hint and added the "e" to Anne in my post. so sorry about that!)
