Here is my Asherton scarf. As soon as I saw Steve's, I downloaded the pattern and the pict of the scarf on the pattern reminded me of this Malabrigo that I've had laying around for awhile.

My husband hates tight socks, he says they make him feel claustrophibic so I made these for him from the Knitting Man(ual). They are the twisted stitch classic sock.

I don't know why this is bothering me all of a sudden but I've noticed that on my sock gussets my K2tog's are nice and smooth but my SSK's are a bit "lumpy".
On my way into work this morning I was thinking about what a different experience yarn shopping is today then it was when I first started knitting in college.
It's called an Irish hiking hat. I love making it and it's incredibly warm and comfortable. It looks just as good on a guy as a girl of course depending on the color.
I can petty much knit a sock in my sleep now so I'm wondering if I should challange myself with toe up socks. Are there any advantages to doing a toe up pattern?
So last week I finally took out my Stich n Bitch and figured out how to cable. I feel so stupid - there was no figuring - it's brain dead easy.
