Finished Boy's Setesdal style sweater

Well, here it is! After a couple of months looking at the fabric, the ribbon, the whole concept of sewing a collar without a pattern and CUTTING my knit garment, I just bit the bullet and did it!! And I'm so happy I did!

I know that knitting doesn't unravel horizontally. But my soul ached at the thought. I'm not new to steeks, either. Just a primal fear that the hours of work will all end up in a knotted mess on the floor!

Hey, guys! Been nearly 8 years since I've been on, and a lot has changed! But I have a serious question:

I'm finished with the body and one sleeve of a traditional Norwegian style sweater for my son. 100% baby alpaca, and it's turning out awesome... But I've hit a stumbling block. I want to do the traditional neckline with embroidery and a pewter frog, but I can't find a pattern for the cloth/embroidered portion.
