Here is one of my christmas projects. I'm making this for a friend who requested a hat a long time ago. I'm bringing sexy back by trying it on before it's finished.
I saw this on my local news and thought I would pass it along.
I've finished knitting the first of two hanks I dyed a few weeks back. I did a total of four, two at a time. The first two the color was even and a richer brown.
Thank you to MMario, Yarnguy716, and Tallguy for all of the information and tips on using butternut hulls to dye yarn. I, of course, couldn't wait on the wool I ordered to arrive to try this.
We have a white walnut tree (or butternut tree) in the yard and all of the nuts are falling to the ground. I would love to use the hulls to dye a little bit of yarn to make a scarf.
I'm going to start an afghan for a friend who just bought a new house. The measurements are 48x60 and as a guy who is 6' tall, 60 inches just isn't long enough for an afghan.
I just wanted to share a picture of a scarf I've been working on. I finished it up yesterday, and I really love it.
I finally finished the baby blanket and washed it. Then I did my best effort to block it a little.
I'm almost finished with my baby blanket. I have 6 rows to finish. (make it happen soon please make it happen soon)
Thank you for your comments on the cotton blanket. I made a baby hat to go with the blanket I'm still working on.
