If you are following my adventures, I leave tomorrow evening via bus to Istanbul.
Suddenly I'm leaving. The purple hexagon afghan is done and I don't really have my next knitting project planned.
It is finished... Already going through project withdrawal. Pleased with it though. I really enjoyed the method of picking up stitches on existing hexagons and watching it grow.
Making progress. The next hexagons will add to the length. Don't know if you can tell, but the cables get one twist looser going from the center out, making the central "star" bigger.
And here is a pic of the Weave-It blanket. It wasn't very well planned, but it will have a good home with Nebahat at the Eucalyptus Pension in Patara, Turkey.
After my Patara vacation, I didn't knit much. Instead I decided to finish the Weave-It blanket. I'm going to give it to the owner of the pension where I stayed and where the project began.
How about a project that feeds two addictions in one!
Ah, spring, Saturday morning and garage sales!
I just returned home to Istanbul from a great 10 days at Patara.
The past few days here in Patara, Turkey have been like heaven. The days have been warm and sunny and the evenings have been cool. I'm staying at a small pension that I found last summer.
