Hounds Tooth for a Hound

One of our dogs is always cold. She sleeps under the blankets and as close to the fire as possible without going up in flames. I decided to quick-knit this coat for her. I was amazed at the hounds tooth pattern I was able to knit. She is loving this garment and she doesn't try to get it off. I want to make her another but next time a pull-on jumper instead of a coat with buttons. Does anyone have some links to dog patterns to suggest? I thought I'd get recommendations first before just wading into the internet.

Open All Hours - Granville's Vest Pattern Search

I have a request to knit a copy of the fair isle vest worn by Granville in the BBC sit-com "Open All Hours". Apparently, the vest has some noteriety, something like Jayne's hat in the show "Firefly". I have seen it in Google images; it wouldn't be difficult but I can't really see the patterning. I am presenting this here in hope that someone may have a lead for this pattern. I am not a member of Ravelry or any other online knitting group but I thought that someone on MWK who is a member might have a look for me. I would really appreciate any assistance anyone can offer. Thanks!

HELP! I can't make the gauge!

Without going into the long explanation, the knitting wools I just received for my new project are not what the pattern calls for. Jamieson Spindrift was sent instead of Jamieson DK. The difference is that the DK is a 3 ply and the Sprindrift is a 2 ply which knits up as a 4 ply. But, this won't effect the garment ( or so I hope) as it's all the same Shetland wool.

Addi cables

I can't locate Addi Turbo needles in NZ. I have a complete set of all sizes and lengths from the US. But, they all have the stiff cable. I see that the Clicks have a soft cable. Are the new Addi turbos sold with the soft or stiff cable? The internet sites which sell them don't say. I appreciate any help.

Looking for these stitch markers

A number of years back, I purchased these stitch markers. I think they came in a pack with different sizes in it. The markers on the left are soft and rubbery; the ones on the right are hard plastic. I like these the very best because they are thin enough not to create any gaps in the work and they don't hang down and get caught in the strands. I would like to get some more but I can't find a source. I think I very well may have purchased them at Patternworks originally but they are no longer available there. I would appreciate it if anyone can direct me to a source for them.
