I have been desperate for the company of other knitters and so I finally took the plunge and joined the Canterbury Spinners' Guild.
My notes on this project:
The Best of Vogue Knitting: 25 Years of Articles, Techniques and Expert Advice; 2007; hard cover; oversize; 244 pages.
Scandinavian Knitting Designs by Pauline Chatterton; 1977; soft cover; 264 pages; out of print.
Does anyone know how to post an upcoming event on MWK?
Knitting in the Old Way: Designs & Techniques from Ethnic Sweaters by Priscilla Gibson-Roberts and Deborah Robson; 2005; soft cover; 312 pages.
This morning a work colleague gave me her mother's old knitting books. Amoung them is a book from England called "Stitchcraft", no date.
OK – I admit it: I’m a knitting bag whore. And, I’m not the only one on this site – you others know who you are!
I've had a number of requests via private email for photos of the inside of this book. I don't know why I didn't add these attachments when I did the original posting.
“Knitting Around the World” by Threads Magazine; 1993; softcover; 95 pages.
