Helloo....I should be knitting right now, but seeing as I am so frustrated right now I can't see straight, so I know if I pick up a pair of needles, not to mention a set of five dpn to knit a sock, I know I would have a real mess on my hands. Knitting usually relaxes me, but today I think I would find that it would just frustrate me even more. Thanks for listening, hope everone has a better day than I am having.

Trying something new with this pattern of socks. I have gotten down a regular pattern of socks pretty good now, ans was at the LYS the other day asn bought a book on more sock patterns to try and stretch my horizions as far as knitting is concerned. Anyway have ripped the sock out three times and no have finally gotten almost 6 inches of body completed. Just about ready to do the heel flap. Hopefully I will have a picture of the completed sock to show you guys. Have a great day, keep on knitting!

I did something today that I have resisted doing ever since I started knitting. Now some of you may think that I am being crazy, but I have resisted trying to fix a mistake or catch a dropped stich. I would usally frog the project and start over. Well today I was working on a sock on size 0 dpns self-stripping yarn. I noticed that I had droped a stich a couple of rows back. Now I really had ot resist frogging, worked my way back to the place where I dropped the stich and caught up the stich and started working again. Yeah for me!!! I had ot tell someone. Thanks for listening.

The salon that I purchased in Sept 06 is doing great and I am trying to get back to some knitting now that everything has settled down and the Holidays are over. Didn't get anything knitted for Christmas, maybe next year. Did get a couple of skein of yarn and a gift card to lys, looking forward to spending that. Anyway, hope you all are healthy and looking forward to the new year!

I can't believe how long it has been since I have been on this sight. I am so sorry I have neglected you all. Here I was loking for other guys to talk with and have not been on here to check out whats been going on. Jus t to bring you up to date, have two new socks on needles and ready to close the toes, and have started another pair of socks with self striping yarn. Have takn a break from knitting for just a little while, I am trying to buy a salon in my area, and that has been taking up more time than I thought it would. Glad to see lots of new faces and the same familiar faces also. Drop me a line and I promise I will get back to you this time.

Just thought I would post my first entry on this site. I have finished a pair of socks for myself and am currently working on another pair. Now the interesting part of this story it that I have started on the new pair of socks without my knitting guru sitting by my side, I have even done the heel flap and have now turned the heel without my knitting guru. She tells me "job well done". I am quite proud of myself! I just read the directions and did as it said to do, now that dosen't seem so hard, but I am glad to hav eread the pattern and done it without my knitting guru. Anyway, when I get a picture I will post it.
