Here it is, only 2 days in the making. A scarf for a friend I knew was retiring, but the retirement came sooner than expected.
Just two projects I have been working on. Finished the baby afghan last Friday night for a friend who had her son 2 weeks early. She will be getting the gift on Monday.
Here is my recently completed Triangular shawl. It is a Lion Brand yarn and pattern and my daughter is modeling it.
Any news on the recipient? Just curious....
Made my first entry on my blog.
Just some rambling.
Let me start by saying that there were 25 kids signed up to do finger knitting today at our library, with my daughter and I, ready to teach.
My wife and I organized an area on our sun porch last spring for knitting. It has a couch, rocking chair, dresser, and shelves for yarn storage.
Just got home last night from our family vacation in White Lake, NC. Visited the LYS in Whiteville, NC, A Row of Purls, Too.
I had to block my Noro Scarf recently and had no pads to use. Fortunately I had an old camping pad made out of foam (the kind you use under a sleeping bag).
I've been knitting feverishly for a few weeks on several things. These are the latest 2 items. The first is a Noro scarf in the feather and fan stitch pattern. It is my first blocking venture.
