I was tossing another skein of mohair lace yarn to Evan for a shawl he was doing for a friend... and out of my ever so slightly inebriated (Olympic knitting party, hard cider, crackers, cheese, cookies, wine, etc) MOUTH came the following in my best manly faux-Irish accent:

"THAT'S THE MANLY ART OF KNITTING, WHEN YOU THROW YOUR BALLS ACROSS THE STORE!"

It cracked up the gals.

Oh My Cow!

I was at Jo-Anne's fabric buying some cotton twill for making some pants, and I needed to go find a while wool/nylon blend for fixing a client's sweater (worn out cuffs and elbows on an ancient aran).

re-evaluation

As much as I've been enjoying the "hat a day" bit, I realize it's not helping me fulfill what I really want to do, which is to get my sweater patterns finished and made and tested, and sized...
