Well, I hopefully did some of my part this am by ordering a MWK mug and T-shirt. How bout gettin some baseball caps with the logo? I'd wear it proudly! Thanks so much for being back up!

OK, got the tattoo last Wednesday. I love it. Still sore. Took 3 1/2 hours, but I love the results. Will post a pic once it heals. Got after my knitting on Sunday. Finished two purses. I've never poked a hole thru the purse after felting before. It was kinda scary! But I like the end result. Also finished my first double reverse cable scarf. Been workin on that thing for like a month! Decided I had too many projects 1/2 way done and needed to get the majority finished up.

OK, gonna try for the tattoo again tomorrow night. Hopefully, I'll like the design and the guy won't be on jury duty again. Secondly, I figure I've really got to get my ass in gear to get 3-4 more purses and 2-3 more pairs of clogs done before Christmas. Started a new purse last night. Doing it all in Plymouth Outback, kinda a green/beige mix, I think its called an Elizabeth Bag, I like it cuz you put the handle on holders and its all knitted up, you dont' have to do Icord or poke it thru afterwards etc.. Anyway, it seems to be going pretty fast. Got the bottom knitted, picked up all my sides, and got 3-4 rows in the round done last night. Have 55 rows or so to do in the round. I will take a picture will all my creations and post it in the near future. Later dudes.

Getting my second tattoo hopefully this afternoon. Gonna have to think about how I can incorporate the MWK symbol into my next one! :-) Is the design copyrighted? Do I need permission to get it tattooed somewhere on my body? :-)
I'll let you know how it goes this evening!

picture of me with tote is cuz my knitting store had a contest and I won. Not a bad tote. I need something to keep all the tons of little scraps together.. My problem is that I am not organized enough to know what the little tiny remnant is. So if its not cascade, it wouldn't felt, and stuff and so I'm not quite sure what I"ll do with all my little remnant balls and stuff. Any ideas? Thanks

Since OU had an off weekend, I spent the weekend felting. Had 2 purses and a pair of felt clogs to do. purse on the left is one from "Pursanalaties" I'm not sure if that's the right spelling. Its a combo of Cascade 220 and Noro Silk Garden, and the purse on the right is from Blacksheepbags and is called a "Boogie" Bag or something like that. It is just done in Plymouth Outback. The felted clogs are the fiber trends ones just done in cascade. The felting seemed to do much better in a top loader. I think that's how I'm going to felt from now on. I have a machine at my office. So I did continuing education and felted at the same time! Killed two birds at same time! Anyway, I'm happy with how they came out.

Just finished a purse from blacksheepbags. I think its a Booga Bag. Did the Icord handle last night. So right now, I have two purses, and two pairs of clogs to felt. I just haven't been in the felting mood. I am also going to try to felt them at my office in the top loader we have. I'll study and felt at the same time! :-) I think I need to whip out like 3 more pairs of clogs, and about 8 purses before Christmas! Wish me luck!

I must be doing someting wrong. Felted purses seem to do ok. When I felted my first pair of clogs, they were wrinkly, didnt' felt up nice and smooth at all like the pictures you guys have on here. I have a front loader. I'm just not happy with how it felts. I'm gonna have to find a top loader, take things out often, stretch, etc. I usually felt with jeans and tennis shoes. Any other tips on how to felt the clogs? I'm a very loose knitter. I know that's kinda strange for a newbie, but I'm very loose. I dont' know if thats good or bad. I am also a continental knitter. I think that's one reason I'm so loose. Any tips or pointers would be appreciated.

Here is a picture of me and the Thursday afternoon knitting group at my local yarn store. We get together each week and have a blast.
