I finished the Gecko couple. The orange one is Cooder, and the brown one is Gregory.
As I near the end of my gecko couple (those things are a super-quick knit!), I'm beginning to turn my eye toward winter projects.
So I took a hiatus from everything...family, friends, video games, knitting...would've taken a hiatus from work, but that's what was funding my hiatus, soooooooooo....
So about that Superwash wool...
Since I couldn't do a felted join, I went ahead and did a good, solid tie.
Or...I thought it was good and solid.
Okay, this did not make sense to me. I'm knitting the Uncle Argyle Scarf from "Son of Stitch 'n' Bitch." Both my yarns are 100% Merino wool.
[mostly non-knitting content; be warned]
Why is it that everything my partner asks me to knit for him ends up being a YSP?
100 Bowls of Compassion rejected me. LOL That hurts! Rejected by a charity... Icing on the cake of a day that's been harrowing at best!
Okay, and here's the vase. I like it a little less than I initially did after seeing its humorous shape come out of the washing machine, but I still find I have affection for it nonetheless.
Okay, so here's the bowl I knitted/felted. As I mentioned previously, it was knit with Patons Soy Wool Stripes, so that's why there's a nice texture to it and it's not a "solid-felt" item.
