Hey I'm new!!! | Men Who Knit

Hey guys just thought i would say hi to everyone! Im new on here after discovering Men Who Knit about 2 weeks ago i thought I'de best start somewhere! So here I am. Im Phil, i live in England and I'm obsessed with knitting - by hand and with machines.

In terms of projects ive been attempting to finish lots that i have started as i have a tendancy to start things and have several projects on the go, and never complete them. So about 2 months ago i told myself i wouldnt start anything new until i had finished the two boleros i was making for my sister, 2 baby jumpers, and a hand knit jumper for myself. Did i do it??? NO!!! I had to start on something else - a cabled aran jacket for myself.

Anyway i have eventually finishd those projects now and currently just have the one on the go - the cabled jacket. So hopefully i will upload some photos of it when its complete, or i may just take some of what i have done so far.

Anyway thats my first hello on here.

Welcome, Phil. Think we can all relate to a pile of unfinished projects. Right now I have a stack of five pars of knitted clogs that just need to be sewn up before I can felt them, but as they say, procrastination is the poisoned fruit of perfectionism!

You've come across an excellent group of chaps who share your passion!

...including incessant starting of projects and then trying to work on finishing each up...just knit them as they want to be knit...they'll tell you...that's the best part of knitting...you always have something on the needles that needs to be knit.
