New Yarn Basket

Today I found this vintage wicker basket at the local Sunday flea market. It is 14" tall, 16" wide and 8" deep. It will be perfect to hold all the knitting wool skeins for each project in the works. I have
been looking for something like this; right now I just shove the bag of wool into the secretary which really isn't all that practical. Considering it is in excellent condition and was only $5.00, I just couldn't pass it up (even if I'd not had the perfect use for it!).

Nice basket!

I don't peruse the thrift shops and flea markets anywhere near as much as I should. Most of my yarn purchases are just stored in a closet in the bag I brought them home in. I have a small set of plastic drawers that hold my needles and other accessories, and the yarn I buy in smaller amounts (usually just one or two skens). I'd like something a bit more unique though.

What a great find. You have to go to those flea markets to find treasures, don't you? Both beatuiful and practical.

Very cool and practical. I love finding bargains like that.
