Voyager Lace Stole

It's been a while since I've had a completed project to share. This is the Voyager Lace Stole in Harrisville Shetland. The color is called Hemlock. I've really been into greens lately!

I promised a friend I'd make something for him to give to his grandmother. Luckily he suggested green for her. I liked doing the Queen Anne's Lace in the lilac Harrisville Shetland so when I started the Voyager earlier in the fall I went back for it in a green. I put it down a LOT between then and last weekend when I blocked it. It looks lovely, and it is, but I'm glad it's done. It just started to feel tedious after a while and I needed frequent breaks from it and I'm glad it's finally done.

I laid this out on the bed in our guest room to try and take pictures. My dogs snuck in and Lili, our 13 year old Italian Greyhound came to check out what I was doing. She seemed to like it and wanted to roll on it for a bit. She's a fiesty old gal and we just love her so that was okay!

Looks great! That's a lot of repetative pattern. I'm sure Grandma will be the belle of the ball.

It has such beautiful flow, it feels like the pattern is in gentle motion. Thanks for including the pups- they remind me of my sweet greyhound, Pharaoh, who passed away two years ago about this time.

This is beautiful Aaron, and although not normally a 'green' fan I am attracted to this one. Grandma will love it.

Gorgeous! I too, love the green. Thanks for posting the pattern link, I just down loaded it.

You'll have to bring that to show 'n tell in May! Only wish you could bring the puppies for show 'n tell too.

My friend is picking it up this week and I think his grandmother lives in San Diego. That might be a bit tough. I could more easily manage getting the dogs up there to visit even for an hour or so since I live so close.

I'll have something for show and tell!!!
