Hello there everyone!

I just wanted to give a shout and say hello to everyone. I just joined this site but I have been watching many of your blogs while I waited for approval. I must say that I am amazed there are so many men who knit! The projects you have been showing have been absolutely amazing! I'm a beginner myself. I've been knitting for maybe a little over three years now and mostly just in the winter. I have made a ton of scarves, some hats, a dog sweater, a child's sweater, and right now I have an afghan on one set of needles and a men's sweater on another. I started the sweater years ago, but I just haven't been motivated to work on it. The afghan I started around New Years and I have three out of five strips done. Anyway, I'm in SE Wisconsin. Right on I-94 between Madison and Milwaukee. I can't wait to start showing off my projects as I grow and learn as a knitter. Something that I thought of to request from you guys. I was wondering if when others post pictures of their projects, they might include a picture of the non-public side of your project. It might give me a better idea of how some things are made. Just a thought. Take care!

Welcome! I suspect that many of us have a project or two "on hold". You always have the option of frogging the sweater and reusing the yarn for something you are more likely to finish.

Welcome. I have found this group to be very helpful and supportive. I think we all have "unfinished projects. I know I do, I have a sweater, nearly finished, a lace scarf that I just put on hold to make some lace curtains. One day they will all get finished. Enjoy the group and once again welcome.

I'd just like to join in the welcoming party and support everything the guys have already said...but it sounds like you knew most of this already!

Glad to have you in the MWK group.

Welcome to our group from another Wisconsian. Is that what we're called? Just moved here from Los Angeles and living in Madison. You should come visit us at the Sow's Ear in Verona sometime. And like everyone else has said, this group is great and very supportive.
