Keeping Busy! Loads of WIPs, and Collecting Pattern Books

So... I've been a busy little boy lately... I've started on the Citron Shawlette from using a variegated skein of Malabrigo lace... wish me luck... I've never worked with yarn so fine (first time to work with lace weight EVER!). The pattern is fairly easy, and the results are coming out beautifully. Also making a couple of the Meathead Hat Pattern from Knitalong: Celebrating the Tradition of Knitting Together by Larissa Brown. My camera has officially given up so... pictures will come as soon as my tax return cash comes in!

So I have this new obsession with collecting pattern books specifically geared towards men, which has temporarily ousted my yarn swift obsession (but believe me, it's still in the back of my mind! My tinker-toy setup is getting me by). So I have the following books (either already in my collection or on order):

Son of Stitch and Bitch by
Men's Knits
Knits for Men
Knitting for Him
The Knitting Man(ual)
Knitting With Balls
Noro Men

Just wondering if anyone had other books they can recommend either geared towards men's patterns, or has a lot of good men's patterns in it. I'm especially interested in books that are a little more fashion forward... so any thoughts or recommendations would be GREAT!

I can recommend Classic Knits for Men by Martin Storey and Wendy Baker. It has sweaters, cardigans, vests, jackets, hats, scarves and socks in 'classic yet contemporary' designs. I have knitted several from this book.

Thanks for the heads up! It looks like it hasn't been released here in the US, so I'm looking around to where I can order from.

Have a look on Amazon. I think someone on here a while ago mentioned that they had it.

The price on is extortionate compared to You should be able to pay with your usual credit card. I buy stuff in the USA and Australia and places with a sterling credit card with no problems. If not I can get it for you and you can send me dollars.

OK here it is on amazon UK

for £8.56

Much easier to just click on 'books' and then type in the name of the book than key in that whole reference above.

I have found that Classic Knits for Men is identical to Knitting For Him, it was just released under a different name and different cover in the UK. I found a used copy for about 7 bucks on eBay!
