Rob,
Love the cooking blog. Thanks for the heads up--I became a subscriber. As it turns out, I was just looking for a recipe for pork tenderloin to fix for a Mardi Gras dinner this week. And as we know, Mardi Gras is all about the meat and your Pork wrapped in bacon sounds wonderful. What do you think about adding some heat to the mustard tang and maple syrup sweetness? I'm thinking of dusting the pork with some Ancho powder before I wrap it with bacon.

I love ox tails, but it irks me to pay "steak prices" for an item I used to get for just a couple cents a lb. Likewise several other cuts that used to be inexpensive, now cost as much or sometimes more then the traditionaly "better cuts"

You are so right when you remember"greens make you clean and fruit makes you cute"...but you left off "meat makes you beg for more"...or at least, that's what I think...
If I have a little extra money, I buy yarn, fiber books, and knitting supplies. I get food with what's left over.
Every person I encounter teaches me more about myself. Without whom not.

Must say that I'm glad your site is catching on, Rob. I look at it fairly regularly and would set myself up as a follower if I owned a computer. However, I use public computers at the local libraries so that isn't an option. Great recipes and lots of fun reading them. Best regards. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
