I'm trying to keep the momentum going on my UFO depletion. This is a baby set I made for Emma's little infant brother, Andrew. I used the same CotLin Yarn from Knit Picks as for the toddler set I posted yesterday, and I added in the Coffee as a third color. It's amazing what a difference the addition of one color can make. The cap and mini-mitts are from the book, "The Big Book of Kids' Knits" by Zoe Mellor and the booties are Saartje's Booties from her knitting blog (also posted on Ravelry). The bib was improvised. I started out with the pattern "Garter stitch washcloth" from lionbrand.com and when I was 75% done I bound off all but 8 stitches and decreased every row until 3 stitches remained. I placed those 3 stitches on a DPN and made i-cord for the strap. I picked up 8 stitches on the other side and repeated the process. One i-cord was knotted and the other was looped for the closure. It will come in very handy when the teeth-cutting/slobber fest kicks in! Suki was happy to help model .
