1st class

I went to the first session of the knitting class on Tuesday. It went well and had a good time. We worked on casting and the knit stitch. Of course I was the only guy there and was welcomed by everyone. However the cat goes crazy when I am knitting. She wants to play with yard. Hopefully she will get tired of me pushing her off the recliner and let me knit.

Have a great weekend.

welcome to the club! ;)

Give the cat a ball of her own yarn and welcome aboard.

Isn't it fun to be such an object of curiosity?

Anyway, welcome...

That was my experience at my knitting classes. Glad you enjoyed your class.

Sounds good, Randy. My first class was last August. What an amazing experience it's been. I've never had anything like this before. Learning a craft like this and being a part of this men's craft guild. All I can say is that it's getting inside me. I wish you the absolute best with it.
PS The cat sounds like she may need her own stash.

Just make sure you cat isn't ingesting the yarn...it can be extremely dangerous for a cat.

My last cat used to slurp yarn down like spaghetti any opportunity he could. I ended up having to take him to the vet and have some yarn surgically removed from his intestine once.

Welcome.....whether to the Dark Side, or the Light Side, will depend on what kind of knitting day you are having. Enjoy! -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
