Hi Michael in a Cowboy Hat!

Welcome!  I'm VERY excited to see you working so hands on with silk, and would love to find out more - I'll spend some time on your website soon.  I grew up in Beirut (sigh) and every spring our maid would bring us silkworm eggs from the village, and I'd go out and chop up the mulberry leaves and feed them, and watch them through the entire cycle.  I can still here my father complaining about the cocoon he found in his typewriter from an escaped worm!  I think of that every time I see a mulberry tree even now.

I love knitting with silk - usually the narly silk noil that I spin up and ply with wool.

 Anyway, welcome!
