Welcome to SPring 2010!
Yes, I think today (or maybe yesterday?) is technically the last day of winter but you'd never know it in this town. Yesterday felt like the middle of summer! Hope to see you Monday night. I'm thinking about starting to spin. (As if I weren't dizzy enough already.) And I've got loads of questions, of course.
Oh my goodness! Trees with Leaves! That's exciting! The best I get today (and I am not complaining) is my husband built the raised beds for the garden part of the backyard. This will be our first summer in the new house so it's pretty exciting. I am looking forward to putting in dirt and mixing it up with the bunny compost, can already see those first new potatoes on my plate. Hopefully it turns out as good as my imagination. There were a few flies in the bunny palace too but I quickly got rid of that problem. So those two things tell me that you are right Andy and that spring is here finally. BONUS! Today is the vernal equinox so do not forget to bless your gardens and those around you for prosperity. Tonight after the blessing, we will be have our feast and mead. Well, have a good weekend everyone, gotta go bake bread for the meal!
We have daffodils and the lilac is loaded with buds - yes spring is here.
In Belgium... No sun for today... only grey grey grey.... but no rain ;-)
And tomorrow... SUN SUN SUN ;-)
Ha ve a nice sunday...
sorry for my english... normally I speak French...
This weekend was the autumn equinox for us here in Australia and the weather in Sydney has gone crazy after a few lovely autumnal days. The last three days have been 29C, 30C and 31C (low 90sF I think).
Happy Spring, everybody. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
