Little Boots

Funny that this is my first blog post here, been here for awhile. Anyhoo, I literally just (as in yesterday) finished my kal Cat Bordhi felted boots. When I got both of them finished, right after felting, I looked at them and said, "Wow, they look like Daniel Striped Tiger!" They made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside (not dissimilar to how they will make my feet feel, I am sure).

The red toe is Cascade 220 held double, the rest of the yarn is Crystal Palace Iceland that I have had for a long long time. The orange I had kool-aid dyed with cherry and grape.

I like that one of the socks has the red toe! Not colors I'm into, but it looks neat the way it felted. Let us know if they are as warm as they look.

They are nice and warm. Very cozy. I only wish that I had gotten them done sooner to take advantage of their warmth. At least I will be ready for the next winter.

I think they look great!! I make 10 -12 pairs of these a year as gifts and such and always have a box with the leftovers (usually an ounce or two depending on the company) as usually make 1 or 2 of those 12 pairs with the scraps. I love the look. awesome colors. i have some picture s of a scrappy pair I wear around the house regularly on my ravelry page as well. GREAT JOB!!!
