Sister socks

These are for my sister for her 60th. I can't believe she's 60, it seems like she was just babysitting me yesterday. Anywhy, I like the way they turned out and I think she will like the cool gray colors. The yarn is Comfort Sock by Berroco and they were knit on size 0 needles. The pattern is a variation from Vogue's Ultimate Sock Book. They were knit cuff down with a flap heel.

these are very nice and I'm sure you're sister will love them! Brilliant.

Wierd isn't it? Three of my sibs are now 60 or older.....the youngest in the next generation down is 21 next month; and the generation after that already has some pushing at the teens....

Those socks are BEAUTIFUL! The soft colouring works wonderfully with the textured pattern. Well done!

Thanks everyone. My sister lost her husband to a series of massive strokes and her oldest son to to skin cancer last year so I like to make her feel special as often as I can. She is also a big fan of my socks. Like I said she turns 60 and she gets to retire with her husaband's railroad pension so were throwing her a big birthday retirement party at my house which is when I will give her the socks.
