Black Sheep Gathering

Holy Crap, I am going to the Black Sheep Gathering tomorrow for the first time ever and I am totally excited. I can't wait. I had so much fun at OFFF last year and I hear this one is bigger and better. If you see me there say howdy.

In other news I did just finish a very beautiful sweater vest. I used the pattern in Men's Knits by Erica Knight. It is called Simple Vest and I used Katmandu Aran Tweed to knit with. Color choices were Magenta for the rib and dark gray for the rest. I kind of faded the magenta up into the gray after I finished the rib. It was a fun knit. Not just hours of stockinette. It held my interest all the way thru.

I am also 5 squares into the Great American Aran Afghan and I am addicted. Trying to do one square a month so I should be done towards the end of next year.

Give us a report when you're back from it. Are you camping out or just going for one day? I'd like to get some data on whether it's worth the drive from San Francisco.

where is black sheep?
