Blanket from leftovers

I have just finished this blanket. About 25 years ago i made a shaggy rug, and the blanket is knitted from the leftovers. I used even the smallest pieces. If the yarn was 1mtr I would knit it into the blanket.
The blanket is made from five strips crotcheted together. The edges are knitted on all four sides, and the middle is what ever fell into my mind. I used all combinations of knit and purl stitches, cable patterns, lace patterns, German male stockning patterns and so on.
I also made a pillow though it is not finished yet.

Wow!! That is amazing and beautiful! How long did it take you to do this? It might've taken me 25 years to do something like that. The colors are absolutely fantastic. Can I have it? :-) Seriously - congrats on a beautiful piece!!

It's always amazing when random stitch patterns and random color choices of leftovers can turn into such a masterpiece. Just beautiful work and an incredible result.

Thanks for the roses. Actually it only took about three months to make it (very thick yarn and thick needles) and it was very fun with the random colours and patterns.
Sorry Purly Man, you can't have it, it is allready spoken for. My husbear needs it for his afternoon nap.
Best wishes from a very sunny and warm Denmark

Love it! I'm hoping to eventually make a throw out of all my left over sock weights. I figure at the rate I knit, about 40 years. ^^
