Towny Cushion

bobshome's picture

It's time for another cushion to appear on the scene. I loved the pattern of a previous cushion I had knit for the bedroom so I made one for the living room in a different size with a firmer feather/down ratio filler.

Looks great! Very sharp.

Very smart Bob. Is that zig-zag knitting difficult to do?

bobshome's picture

No - it's not difficult. It's mostly a slipped stitch that creates the zig-zag.

Love the strong graphic design

Have been knitting for years. I knit continually then will try another craft, but will return to the needles.

I love this pattern! Is your own design or is there a pattern available?

bobshome's picture

Well there's going to be one soon. I'll post what I did.

Yes, please! I'd love to make a couple of these as presents for some of my more tasteful friends!!

the zigzag one is particularly stunning...! surprise given your talent as a decorator!

Bill - the half black and half white is simply the back side of the zig-zag cushion.

It's GORGEOUS. And it fits beautifully in the room. It reminds me of Anni Albers weaving. I'd love to learn how to do that pattern, so please do post!

Absolutely brilliant! Neat tidy and orderly. I will be taking life cues from this room. Thank you for posting.
