Finally, after approximately 5 months on knitting hiatus, my Queen Anne's Lace shawl is off the needles and ready to be blocked. It has taken me entirely too long to finish it, but I got wrapped up with other projects (2 Linus project quilts, a quilted table runner and small lap quilt for christmas presents, as well as a crocheted pineapple tablecloth and centerpiece) I have about 1.5 skeins of yarn left over from the shawl...gotta find something to do with it. Knitting lace was an experience, one that I enjoyed but not quite ready to tackle another lace project of that size again right now. Anyone know of some smaller lace patterns that I could tackle?
P.S. - pictures will be forthcoming....gotta get ready to go to work now!

An amazing amount of work you've done.

I've been enjoying knitting triangular scarf/shawls with lace borders. If your yarn is very fine you could hold it doubled.

198 Yards of Heaven is a smaller lace pattern. You can download it free on Ravelry. I make several of them to give away at the hospital, though I do add a pattern repeat to make them larger.
Couldn't be simpler with the large needles and worsted weight yarn. Sometimes I just need some simple knitting.
