PBS Programs

Have any of you seen the PBS program called "Knitting Daily" and "Knit and Crochet"? These two programs are shown Mondays on PBS stations. I have obtained a great deals of tips, techniques, types of yarns, etc. from these programs. They also have men knitters on occasions.

I record them every Monday. I love them. They help me with techniques and ideas. Well worth the time to watch. Knitty Gritty is also back on DIY network.

Oh my gosh!! I had no idea. I hope they're playing on our PBS station(s) here in Denver!! Thanks for the tip!

Frank, I get them on my Comcast cable in the Denver metro area.

Knitty Gritty is on 277 DIY
Knit and Crochet Today is on 248 Create
Knitting Daily is on 12 KBDI

The latter is one of our PBS stations. The other two are cable networks. If you don't have cable, they may be on other services too.

I also record them both, and thanks for the heads up on Knitty Gritty. I wondered what happened to it. One day it was there and the next it was gone. Both shows are interesting and I've gotten some ideas and solutions to some questions I've had. Nice to also have crochet information on the program.

I get to see some clips occasionally as I belong to the Knitting Daily site. However, as far as I know, they aren't available through our local PBS provider. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

I've seen both of those, and they're very interesting. They do have male and female presenters who demonstrate different techniques, so that's pretty cool.
