Pics of Socks

My first pair of socks from the Red Cross Pattern on Ravelry. They are a bit large.
100% Red Lion Wool. I think I'll try something smaller out of a blend for my next pair.
I think these were meant to be worn in the trenches.

nicely done! even though they're a wee bit large, they'll keep your toes comfortably toasty this winter.

I agree with Kerry. Once you make your first pair out of any kind of wool on any sized needles, then there's no stopping you. The possibilities are endless from here on out.

These are wonderful and I have to agree you will be hooked on socks for a long time, which is ok as there are so many different yarns available today for socks. Happy Knitting

Very good looking socks, Stephen. You will find it easy to adapt size as you work on future pairs, either by adjusting your stitch counts or going to a smaller needle. The good thing is that you can always find someone that can use them. Or donate to charity. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
