finished a norah gaughan scarf

well, after trying to make this scarf about 10 different times, I finally finished it and want to show it off just a bit. I learned quite a bit from each failed attempt, but I am satisfied with the end product. In fact, a few friends have claimed that I made it for them.
The most important lesson I learned was to not knit after 10 pm; and when I do - and I do, and I make a mistake, I just need to have a martini, go to bed and take a new look at it in the morning.

Ooh, I love that book! Some day, I want to knit the Beagle sweater! Your scarf looks great; good job hanging in there! I've had a number of false starts on a scarf lately, myself.

Looks luxurious! What kind of yarn did you use?

Thanks Tom. I used a wool Lions yarn I got at JoAnns. It has a bit of variation to it the the photo doesn't really show. But I'm satisfied with the result and making another one again using Lions 100% wool in a cranberry.

Oooooh! What a beauty! Good job. I'd also like to know what kind of yarn you used.

Think less, enjoy it more.

Thanks! Now that it is finished I'm making another one with minor changes. I'm using Lions 100% wool that I got at JoAnns.
Great photo btw --
