Profound gratitude

To all of you who answered my cry for help regarding adding stitches to my first scarf, I am most sincerely thankful. I expected to get some valuable technical tips, such as not splitting yarn with the needle (yes, I was doing that), and I think they have helped solve the extra stitches problem. My scarf is still very wide--it could double as a sleeping bag--but it's not getting wider. What I had not anticipated, however, was all the encouragement and support, nor how much it meant to me. Just to hear people saying, "I've done that" and "Keep going" made me realize the true value of Men Who Knit. Many thanks, my first scarf will be dedicated to you.
