Teaching the dog to knit

Thought you guys might enjoy this shot - I'm watching TV and knitting (Portuguese style) when Jampa, our 18 month old Tibetan mastiff, climbs onto the sofa and lays her head down on my arm. After trying to grab the yarn in her mouth (unsuccessfully) she just closed her eyes...and fell asleep, resting on my arm as I knit.

My partner Scott snapped the photo.

She's a handful, but nothing quite like a 100 pound dog who insists on cuddling.

That's SO adorable I can barely stand it!!! Suki's slumbering in the crux of my arm as I type this. I wish I lived close enough to you guys to dog sit—Jampa is such a cutie!

Have done in the past - but we get so much every year that I've stopped collecting it!!!

Think less, enjoy it more.

A bag of it would be a great door prize for a knitting retreat.....a unique item for the spinners present

MMario - I'm not divorced from reality - we're having a trial separation

Really cute. My Wednesday night knitting group enjoyed the story, as well. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Awwww, so cute mine does the same thing, although she usually manages to grab the yarn with her paw. The miniature dachshund on the other hand loves to try and pass through may circular needle as I'm knitting lol.
