One Year Anniversary on MWK

Hi guys! I have now been a member just one year. My but a lot has happened over the past year. I've learned so much and have met so many nice people on this site. I want to thank all of you who have shared your suggestions with me and who just put your samples out there for us to see, both in-progress and finished projects. They are truly inspirational.

I am still working on my afghan and it is now 48" wide and nearing about 55" long, so I am getting there. I have six skeins left to go. I want it to be nice and long so I can curl up in it on cold winter's nights.

Here is my latest adventure. It's the same pattern as the one I designed for my brown scarf. It's for my son. It's made from Superwash Merino Wool, Worsted Weight...and it's washable! I share it as a work in progress here. Enjoy.

Love the colors, and it looks like it will be great on a cold, blustery winter day!!

Happy MWK anniversary!!! The scarf in progress is right in my field of color preferences----if you son doesnt't like it, I would give it a good home!

Very nice scarf. Happy only seems like yesterday we were saying "Hi" and encouraging you to try something new and - to you - a bit scary. Look at you now...designing your own gifts. Congratulations.

Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Hey, it's been a while since we've chatted, but no time like the present to make up for that. First off, happy anniversary! Second, awesome looking scarf! Can't wait to see the afghan when it's done. 6 skeins many did you start with?
